Hummingbirds, Cloudcroft, New Mexico
I'm always amazed at the numerous humingbirds during the summer in the mountain regions. I guess they are like us and like the cool weather!
Kennedy Assassination Site
From the Reunion Tower viewpoint. I was 13 when Kennedy was assassinated and lived about 10 miles from the site. It was a terrible day for the nation and especially for a teenager that lived here.

Hell and High Water Home
We took a look at this home that was for sell in Ruidoso. The listing agent kept telling us that a Texas Ranger had retired to this home and that a new movie was coming out about him. Little did we know the movie would be Hell or High Water with Jeff Bridges staring as the Texas Ranger. The house sold quickly.
Sun and sunspot
On August 21, 2017 we will be taking pictures of the total eclipse of the sun. This is a test shot in order to get ready with proper lens, filter and settings for the big event.
